Brilliant edge defence by Bennison on Hall! The veteran winger tries a kick but this time it’s not played at and we’ll have the ball with less than two minutes to go.

A pressure-relieving penalty is given to Leeds, Saints are judged offside with Rhinos by their own line.

A Miller tap carves through the middle before we scramble and stop them.

Saints grind close to the line, Lomax, Clark and Lees go close and the Rhinos must come off their own line.

Rhinos go high again, we are judged to have knocked the contested ball forward so it’s a new set.

Saints hold the visitors out very well, including a dangerous scoot, before Leeds throw it out on the wing.

A high kick bundles back into Robertson’s hands, on the run he kicks a short one for Lomax but Miller just about gets out of dodge.

Leeds looking to get back into the game, a high kick is again allowed to bounce and Hall gets an offload to Newman who kicks near the wing, but Percival kicks at it for a new set.

Saints looking much better now on the charge and keeping moving Leeds on the back foot.

Saints defend a set by our own line, a kick from Connor looks scuffed and is allowed to bounce. Paasi tries to intercept it and gifts the Rhinos a full set. We hold them out though again but the visitors have a GLDO.

A similar story, hopefully one we can change in this half, the Saints get held well in our own territory before kicking.

Lomax gets obstructed as we defend, Saints hold the Rhinos out.

A wayward pass from the Saints, Leeds race onto the loose ball and will have a dangerous set not far from our line.

Joe Batchelor failed his HIA so will not feature again tonight.

Lomax goes for a small chip which Leeds initially take but we get the ball back and scrum down to try beat the clock but the referee just as the hooter goes signals for stopping the clock and it’s the half.

The defence of the Rhinos again keeping Saints within our own half. Welsby goes for distance but Miller retreats early to catch it.

Reliever for Leeds Rhinos, Sironen knocks on at the play of the ball.

Miller evades a couple of tackles, but not Morgan Knowles – great defence from our #13.

Rhinos kick from deep in their own half, and their chase is good.

Saints again don’t get beyond the halfway and kick themselves from our half.

A high bomb from Saints is not collected well by either side, Leeds start in their own left corner.

Rhinos roll Saints back towards our own 10m, a short Croft kick is taken very well by Percival.

The visitors then are flagged for being offside.

With Rhinos back on their own line, St.Helens go right and Sailor tries a short kick to the corner but it is far too strong. Let off for Leeds.

Leeds fullback Miller loses the ball in a strong Clark tackle. Saints ball now in the Rhinos half for only the second time so far this game.

Newman on an inside run goes close, Saints tangled up in the tackle and the Rhinos get a penalty bang in front of the sticks. They call for the tee.

A smart Connor kick forces Welsby to take the ball in the in-goal, forcing a GLDO.

Clark with a bit of a pressure relieving carry up through a messy ruck. However, a poor kick comes back into Saints hands and Leeds will have it off an offside call.

Saints again struggling to get out of our half, but completing better than seven days ago at this stage.

Terrific charged up defence following some second phase Leeds play, Bennison and Sailor kept chasing tackles strongly.

Sailor drills a kick from the 40m line looking for a kind bounce, but we don’t get it and it runs out for a seven-tackle tap 20.

The Rhinos get held by our 30m line after the penalty kick, Welsby then takes a loose ball following a high kick.

First major attack for the Saints, Knowles and Clark both drive close but we lose the ball close to the line and compound the error with an offside penalty.

First penalty of the game goes the way of St.Helens, the Rhinos strip the ball at the play of it.

Welsby this time on the last drills a good kick into the Rhinos territory. Good Saints chase.

Leeds again on their last run it but this time to the right, and the Red V do well to keep them out.

Hall fields a Lomax kick well from just in our own half.

Rhinos on the last go through hands on their left, Handley kicks ahead but Feldt deals with it well.

Saints kept by the middle of the field, a strong kick means Leeds start from their own 20m line.
