It's Derby Week and two of our sides are taking on our oldest rivals on Good Friday! Before that, we have mid-week Scholarship action at home, and the St.Helens Women take on Cardiff Demons.
As is an Easter tradition, the Saints are taking on Wigan on Good Friday in the latest instalment of a 130-year sporting rivalry.
Ahead of the First Team kick-off at 3pm, supporters of both clubs can catch a glimpse of the future as our two Academy sides collide for the first time this year – a repeat of last year’s Academy Grand Final.
However, we kick off this week’s Saints action at the Totally Wicked Stadium on Wednesday night, with Bradford Bulls coming to town.
On Saturday, the Saints’ defence of the Women’s Challenge Cup continues in the Group Stage with a visit to Wales to take on Cardiff Demons for the first time in a regular competitive fixture.
All the key information you need for all four matches can be found below.

Now back on home turf, with the excitement of playing on the same surface as the very best in the professional game, the Saints will take on a Bradford side motivated to earn their first victory of the year after losing to Hull KR during March.

A repeat of the 2024 Academy Grand Final, however with a whole new set of Saints looking to earn the bragging rights in a fiery Derby Day clash.
Both Saints and Wigan take great pride in developing our own talent, so it should make for brilliant match ahead of the main event with the two clubs Under 18s teams seeking a first win of the Academy Championship season.
Derek Traynor’s Saints lost out to Warrington at home in Round One, before being edged out to an away defeat at Huddersfield Giants last time out. The Warriors lost to Leeds away, and Hull KR at home in their last fixture.

First Team vs Wigan Warriors (A)
It is one of the biggest and most exciting days in the rugby league calendar, as two towns collide, two of our sport’s biggest and most successful clubs in The Derby!
Paul Wellens and Matt Peet are two men tasked with taking charge of their hometown clubs and know just how much this fixture and this rivalry means to every single supporter.
Both teams sit level on points in the Betfred Super League with five victories and two losses, with the goal for both to succeed in the league competition after exiting the Challenge Cup.
St.Helens last Friday night following a short turn-around beat a tough Wakefield Trinity side 26-14, with a strong first half showing to bounce back following the disappointment of the Cup Quarter Final loss.
Wigan’s Fourth Round exit from the Challenge Cup allowed them to prepare for a big clash against the current league leaders, Hull KR, last week. The Warriors beat the Robins 12-28 in an impressive away victory.
This is a match that always delivers, with a completely SOLD OUT crowd confirmed weeks ago, it is going to be some atmosphere on Good Friday. We know our over 5,000 fans in the away end will bring the noise, as the Red V look to get one over our fiercest rival at their house.
