Speaking ahead of the start of the new Women's Rugby League season, back-rower Emily Rudge shares her excitement with Saints TV!
Open and honest as ever, Rudge talks about her personal disappointment at not being selected for England’s match against Australia over in Las Vegas. However, the Saint has been working hard in Pre-Season and wants to take her motivation to be at her fittest and best into the Red V’s new campaign.
Discussing her aims, although perhaps not sharing them all just yet, Rudge has high aims for the season ahead, which starts with our Cup defence for a fourth straight year.
With more quality added, our younger talents also being keen to make their mark, Emily believes there are no guaranteed names on the teamsheet and everyone must fight for their playing shirts come game day.
In a rallying call to the Saints faithful, Rudge urges fans to get down to the Totally Wicked Stadium for matches this season and to cheer on the girls – starting this Saturday with the Women’s Challenge Cup Group Stage game against Warrington!
