Dual Registration & Loan recap

A quick report on which of our St.Helens players have been out on dual-registration or loan this past weekend (29th & 30th March 2025).

Two Saints players were out on duty for other clubs over the weekend that has just been, and below is a recap of how they got on.

Jonny Vaughan – Wigan Warriors 54-0 Salford Red Devils

Following confirmation of his move to Salford for the rest of the 2025 season (read more on that news by clicking here), Vaughan started at left centre for the Red Devils in their away fixture against Wigan.

After back-to-back defeats including their exit from the Challenge Cup. the Warriors cruised to a ten-try victory over Salford who put in a far stronger effort than the scoreline suggests.

The Red Devils have been going through tough times in recent months, and the players who put their hands up to play put in a strong effort despite so many turbulent factors ongoing with the club at present.

Tee Ritson – Barrow Raiders 12-36 York Knights

Our winger Ritson started on the left for Barrow who were going for a third successive league victory in the Betfred Championship after wins over Oldham and Bradford. However, Mark Applegarth’s York side turned around their recent form and got their second win in the league for 2025.

Trailing only by six points at the break, 6-12, the Raiders only added one further score of their own whilst the Knights added three more to take the match away from the hosts.
