Fancy owning a piece of Saints history?
Only 30 of these framed and signed by the 2023 World Club Challenge playing squad shirts exist, with the majority issued to players, staff or club partners – however, you could own one by entering our raffle.
This raffle will be drawn at half time of this Friday’s Betfred Super League home fixture against Warrington Wolves. All proceeds from the raffle will be going to the fundraising efforts for the ASW Solicitors 2026 Australia St Helens Academy Tour!
The 2026 Tour will be the Club’s ninth group of young players to go Down Under and represent St.Helens, with the goal of the tour the same as it has always been: develop more young players to become stars of the future for St.Helens R.F.C.
Our young men will get the chance to experience life and work as a full-time professional athletes whilst on tour. Saints such as Jonny Lomax, Mark Percival, Morgan Knowles, Matty Lees and Jack Welsby are just a few of the current senior Saints players who have been proud Saints Academy Tourists.
You can support the 2026 Tour by purchasing raffle tickets this week, with three star prizes to be won!
- 1st Prize – 2023 signed and framed World Club Challenge shirt
- 2nd Prize – A 2019 signed Tommy Makinson match-worn away shirt
- 3rd Prize – A 2025 St.Helens First Team signed ball
🎟️ How can I get raffle tickets for this draw?
Members of our Saints Scholarship squad and Club Volunteers will be around the concourses at the Totally Wicked Stadium on match night with raffle books, accepting card and cash payments.
Our Stadium Reception from Tuesday (18th March) until Thursday (20th March) during opening hours will be accepting supporters who wish to secure their raffle tickets in advance of game day – this will be card only though.
- £5 – a strip of five tickets
- £10 – x3 strips of five tickets (15 tickets total)
The holders of winning tickets are asked to please visit the Stadium Reception with your ticket.
😇 Why is the 2026 Australia Saints Academy Tour so important?
Our Under 18s will get the chance to train and live like full-time professional athletes, working in top-class facilities with our staff; who will get far more time to work with them, educate and develop them not just as players but as young men off the field too.
The tour will see our Saints Academy take on three competitive fixtures against NRL clubs, culminating with a big clash against Penrith Panthers in the final game, as has become a tradition on our tours.
It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for these youngsters to enjoy the country of Australia and all its culture, and our Saints will get to build bonds as teammates that they will hold on to and look back on fondly, forever.
❤️ Why should you donate?
To travel across to the other side of the world a party of over 30 people with accompanying staff requires significant investment and fundraising to make it happen.
However, if you look through the success stories of the Saints Academy Tourists, and the careers that those men who have gone on to become First Team players, all of them believe that the Saints Academy Australia Tour played a huge role in their development.
The tours of the past have been successful thanks to the phenomenal support from our community. Your support for this upcoming tour will help our Club create the future stars of St.Helens R.F.C., and any generosity big or small to the campaign is greatly appreciated.
Throughout the fundraising campaign there will be opportunities for supporters to win prizes, these will be drawn at announced periods of time from the online donations received. Prizes will include the likes of: attending an exclusive behind the scenes First Team captain’s run session, a signed shirt or a signed ball from the First Team, an exclusive tour on a matchday, plus more to be announced as the campaign rolls on.
🤔 What else is happening to raise funds for the tour?
The Saints have hosted three special events in support of the tour so far!
First up, the legendary Shane Cooper joined Morgan Knowles and Matty Lees for wonderful evening. Our ‘9’s Reunion’ saw Daryl Clark alongside two outstanding men who wore the #9 shirt with Kieron Cunningham and James Roby. Ahead of the 2025 season, our Coaching Staff answered all questions in a unique Q&A event.
All three events raised plenty of money towards our fundraising, and coming up soon we will be hosting an exciting forum, with details to be confirmed shortly.
