Following last weeks big win at home against the Salford Red Devils, we should have been going into the game full of confidence having scored 82 points and conceded zero, but given the Salford side we came up against was made of mainly reserve players, there was still an element of the unknown going into round two.
Castleford on the other hand would come into the game looking to build on an impressive performance in their opening fixture, despite a loss against last season’s grand finalists Hull KR.
With Lewis Murphy picking up an injury in our fist game, Jon Bennison would return to the wing, and Agnatius Paasi would also return to the squad having missed last week in the only two changes.
A win in this game would see us remain at the top of the early league table, but a big win would see our points difference tick over to +100 after just two rounds.
