We go away to The Brick Community Stadium to take on the Wigan Warriors in The Good Friday Derby.
Both us and Wigan will come into this game off the back of much needed wins and will be looking to take that momentum into the game as both want to take home bragging rights from this Good Friday derby, and move up the table.
We will be looking to back up a win over Wakefield, who hadn’t lost away from home in the league before last week, with another win. The first half was one to build on for us with some good rugby on display. However, a second half that saw Wakefield pick up 14 unanswered points to close the game up to 26-14 is something we will need to work on.
Matty Peet’s Wigan will be high on confidence after knocking off this season’s form team, Hull KR, with a high quality second half that saw them overturn a 12-6 halftime deficit to come away the victors, winning 12-28 in the end.
We know how difficult this game will be coming up against last season’s champions, and we’ll be expecting a physical battle, as all derbys are.
