Hear from Morgan Knowles following our victory over Wakefield Trinity in round seven.
On the game Morgan said we were happy to bounce back from last weeks disappointing result in the Challenge Cup, and thought we played really well in the first half, but knows we need to work on some things through the week after letting the intensity drop in the second half.
Morgan was named Captain and Jack Welsby vice captain, in the absence of club captain Jonny Lomax, and said he was really proud to lead the team out on the night, and it’s a really proud moment for him, but he’s just one leader amongst many in this team.
With Wigan to come next week Morgan knows the performance levels need to be better as we take on the champions, and said it’s been too long since we won against one of the bigger teams, so a big game away from home on Good Friday is something we’re all looking forward to.
