Our new Saint has been hard at work in preparation for the new campaign, even admitting that it has been hard but the fun of the travelling Yorkshire players’ “bus”, including Amy Hardcastle, Shona Hoyle and Georgina Holmes, has made it easier to get over to training.
Known as a half-back, Casey is willing to hold her hand up to play anywhere for the Saints, and has really settled into the team quickly.
Whilst she has had a taste of Red V match action in a friendly, she is already eyeing up what Heritage Number she may get by featuring in Craig Richards & Derek Hardman’s squad early in the year.
