Speaking to Sports Presenter Delyth Lloyd, the Red V’s number two talked as the 2025 Women’s Rugby League season gets underway this weekend with the start of of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup this coming weekend.
St.Helens’ aim will be to make it five successive years in a row winning the Cup competition, retain the League Leader’s Shield and go one better than last year by winning the Grand Final to be crowned Betfred Women’s Super League champions.
Whilst the Saints will have to wait one more week before beginning their fourth straight Cup defence when we welcome Warrington Wolves to the Totally Wicked Stadium on Saturday, 12th April, Hook opened up on what it meant to the team to make it four-in-a-row last summer at Wembley.
Hook also shared her story of how she came to join our club, and discussed the continued growth of Women’s Rugby League, declaring the excitement of the journey that the players, teams, fans and clubs are all experiencing with the development of the sport.
