Here is your quick report on which of our St.Helens players have been out on dual-registration or loan this past weekend (8th & 9th March 2025).
Four Saints were on out on duty for other clubs over the weekend that has just gone, so here is your recap on how they did.
Konrad Hurrell & George Whitby – York Knights 10-18 Halifax Panthers
For a second successive week Whitby started in the halves for the Panthers and showed plenty of maturity with a wonderful performance to help guide Kyle Eastmond’s side around the park. George provided the big breakthrough too, 15 minutes into the match with Knights retreating back on their own line, the scrum-half placed a smart chip ahead into space, the bounce of the ball was perfect and he beat a York man to it to go over for a memorable score!

Hurrell also featured for Halifax, a fourth week running for the Tongan, however he did come off the field during the first half and did not return to the field after. Koni will be thoroughly checked over back at Saints, and we will look to provide an update for supporters in due course.
It was a big win for the Panthers to go top of the Betfred Championship, and beat the side that just seven days earlier knocked them out of the 1895 Cup at the same venue – the LNER Community Stadium. Tempers flared up last week, but it was a small slice of revenge for Fax, in a deserved win.
Tee Ritson – Barrow Raiders 20-6 Oldham
In the second week of his initial two-week loan, Ritson scored a second try in as many weeks for his old club but this one this weekend just gone was sublime.
Raiders spread the ball out to the winger, Tee then just beyond the 20m line chipped a kick into the middle, chased it himself and collected it for a brilliant four-pointer.
The Cumbrian team got their second win of the Championship season to make it two wins out of three so far in the league, and last week they moved into the next stage of the 1895 Cup.

Alfie Sinclair – Newcastle Thunder 6-48 Swinton Lions
Young Saints prop Sinclair started in the front row for Paul Wood’s Lions as they cruised past Newcastle at Blaydon RFC.
Alfie almost scored his first professional try too but was judged held up under the posts. He did however create the first Swinton score with a sharp, short pass for Gav Rodden who went on to score a hat trick.
Two wins from the opening two matches for the Lions to start their Betfred League One campaign in style.
