Mbye on planning for post-rugby life with EFT Construction

In a sit down chat with Saints TV, Moses Mbye talks about gaining valuable work experience with North West based building specialists EFT Construction, who are also a proud sponsor of the Club!

Rugby league remains his main focus, but working and learning as an Assistant Project Manager with EFT Construction is giving Moses the chance to take transferable skills into the world of Project Management.

Starting his journey as a Project Manager back home in Australia, the opportunity to work alongside Stewart Meechan and EFT has allowed Moses to continue his development in the field, whilst still playing for the Saints in Betfred Super League action as his priority.

The Club encourages our players to develop themselves not only on the pitch, but also for life off it too, and Moses has been thrilled to have the support of Saints and Rugby League Cares in this regard.

St.Helens R.F.C.’s Chaplain & Wellbeing Manager Paul Johnson spoke with delight about Moses working with EFT Construction and said: “Moses is an absolute delight to work with, in terms of his strengths on the pitch but also his passion and commitment to preparing for his future. We talk about ‘Dual Careers’, which emphasises the importance of having a plan for life alongside and after rugby league.

“When Moses had the opportunity to work with EFT Construction, he took it with both hands and has showed absolute professionalism and drive to gain all of the skills that he needs to flourish.

“Recent studies have showed that players perform better on the pitch when they also have a focus away from the game. I am confident that Moses will continue to show excellence in both aspects of his dual career – as an amazing player and a high quality project manager.”
