As many fans are already aware the 2010 season will be the Club’s last at the place it has called home for more than 120 years – The GPW Recruitment Stadium – Knowsley Road.

The ground has witnessed many memorable moments over the decades and seen countless legends in the Red Vee come and go. But the support from the loyal fans of the Saints has been a permanent fixture that has reverberated through the terraces since the very first game played in 1890.

As the stadium enters its final summer, the club feels its loyal fans deserve the chance to say farewell as it enters a new and exciting era with the arrival of the brand new stadium close to St Helens Town Centre.

With this in mind Saints are delighted to release details about the final season and the Farewell to Knowsley Road.

The club will be hosting a number of special events at the ground including a Farewell Festival which includes a Grand banquet, Fans event and Family Fun day.

It is also offering a range of commemorative products that allow the fans to own their own piece of history.

In addition to this a new range of Heritage merchandise based around the hugely successful and popular Heritage shirt that celebrates the history of the club will be launched in the summer.
