SAINTS will make their ninth successive appearance in a Challenge Cup semi final when they take on Huddersfield Giants on August 9.

The tie, held at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington, sees Saints 80 minutes away from a fourth trip in a row to Wembley.

And they take on familiar foes in the Giants.

Both sides met in the 2004 semi final at the same value – Saints coming out on top 46-6 - and then in the 2006 Challenge Cup Final at Twickenham.

Saints won that match 42-12 to begin a run that would see them establish a club record breaking three cup wins in a row.

Now both sides will lock horns for the third time and Saints need their loyal fans to roar them on to another day in the Capital.

The tie will take place on Sunday August 9, kick off 4pm, at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in Warrington.
