ST HELENS have appointed Mike Coleman and Fergus Lyons to its board of directors.

Mike Coleman originates from St. Helens and is a longstanding fan. He has resided in Singapore for 26 years. He is the founder of Aisling Analytics, a commodities-focused fund management group. Prior to that he held senior positions in the Far East with Cargill, a major privately owned commodities trading group.

Fergus Lyons is the Group commercial Director of A.J.Bell (Andy Bell is an existing director of the club). Prior to that he held senior positions in a major banking group.

Club Chairman, Eamonn McManus, commented: "The appointments of Mike and Fergus constitute a further and major strengthening to our board of directors. They will bring additional professionalism to our club at a time when we commence a transformation of our business with the construction of a new stadium and the wider business opportunities which that brings as well as the challenges which arise from it."
