Packed Matchday Instore!

5th Feb 2010, 3:30pm

SAINTS new look Match Day Magazine will be on sale before Saturday’s clash with Hull FC at the GPW Recruitment Stadium.

Featuring news, views and opinion from all around the club it is priced at just £3.

This issue focuses on Sia Soliola, whilst there is a look at the players in the system and columns from The St Helens Star’s Mike Critchley and Press Association’s Ross Heppenstall.

Keiron Cunningham talks about his last season at the famous old ground and Bryn Hargreaves reveals a more musical side to his personality.

The Super League XV opener will also feature a brand new half time game – The Frontline Bathrooms Crossbar Challenge.

Our major sponsors Frontline Bathrooms are kindly offering fans the chance to win a new Bathroom by hitting the crossbar from 30 metres out.

Supporters of the Saints Lottery will be selected throughout the season to try their luck with a kick out of their hands from the 10, 20 and 30 metre line.

Each contestant will have two chances from each distance and they will move on to the next distance immediately if successful.

They will start on the 10 metre with the tension rising as the kicker goes back to the 20 metre and then to hopefully the winning 30 mete line.

Charity kickers will kick for cash throughout the season with Steve Prescott MBE first in line against Hull FC.

Prizes – 10 metre prize - £20 Saints club vouchers, 20 metre prize – A Season Ticket for the Super League XVI, 30 metre prize – A bathroom courtesy of Frontline.

Meanwhile, if you like to stand near the Eddington End of the stadium or come in at that side of the ground, you can now buy Saints merchandise.

Saints will have a merchandise kiosk open an hour and a half before kickoff with scarves, hats, coats and replica kit on sale.

The game will also feature a collection by the Wildcat Dolls for the Steve Prescott Foundation, Medicash’s promotional girls handing out leaflets on the company and Saints’ new cheerleading troupe, the Saintsations.

Tickets for Saturday’s game, which kicks off at 5.45pm, are still on sale and turnstiles will be open right up until kick off.
